Ugandan winger Rogers Mato Kassim, 22, has seen his market value rise to €700,000 as of December 18, 2025, reflecting his impressive run of form in North Macedonia with FK Vardar.
Mato’s valuation has increased significantly in a short period, having been valued at €500,000 on October 20, 2025. The sharp rise is largely attributed to his outstanding performances at club level this season.
Since making an early-year move from fellow North Macedonian side Brera Strumica, Mato has quickly established himself as one of Uganda’s brightest talents abroad. His impact has been immediate and decisive.
In the North Macedonia Prva Liga, Mato has scored 12 goals in just 13 appearances, while also providing two assists, underlining his growing influence in the final third ahead of the AFCON Morocco 2025.
His form has also translated well onto the continental stage. Mato featured in four UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying matches, scoring three goals. One of his standout moments came in a 2–1 victory over Swiss side Lausanne Sport at the Toše Proeski Arena in Skopje, where he found the back of the net in a memorable European night.
Primarily deployed as a left winger, Mato is valued for his versatility, with the ability to operate effectively as a right winger or centre forward for both club and country.
With AFCON 2025 in Morocco set to kick off on December 21, attention now turns to the international stage. The Uganda Cranes will begin their campaign on December 23 against an in-form Tunisia side at the Stade Olympique de Rabat.

Mato is expected to be one of the key players to watch as Uganda looks to recreate the magic of their AFCON 2019 opening victory, once again aiming to shock a fearless Tunisian team.
